DESCRIPTION

Altberg has been making classic English leather hiking boots since 1989. The soft padded leather ankle cuff and one piece leather upper are tried and tested, and ideal for Dales and medium level Lakeland walks and hikes. The ladies boot has more sole flex and the leather upper is much softer and supple than the men's walking boot. The Fremington Lady remains one of Altberg's most popular ladies hiking boots, and the choice of 5 width fittings has enabled many to achieve better foot comfort. 

The Fremmington boot has recently been awarded top marks and named as a 'favourite' in BBC Countryfile Magazine - Find out more.

SIZE & FITTING ADVICE

XN - We don’t normally sell extra narrow by mail order or online, only when a customer has previously worn Altberg boots or is sure of their fitting.
N - If you have narrow feet, then we suggest that you keep with your normal shoe size.
M - For medium feet we suggest that you go up ½ a size on your SHOE size – this will allow for a thick sock with the boots.
W - For wide feet we suggest that you go up ½ a size on your SHOE size – this will allow for a thick sock with the boots.
XW - We don’t normally sell extra wide by mail order or online, only when a customer has previously worn Altberg boots or is sure of their fitting
