DESCRIPTION
Veldt stitching of the sole to the upper is the traditional method of boot and shoe making, it was first developed during the 1800's on shoes and boots for use on the South African high veldt.
Jorvik Veldt is intended for urban and country use, and the Vibram® sole is a 'blown PU', very lightweight but still suitable for countryside trail walking.
The upper is a two piece soft supple full grain leather and the lining is Sympatex® which gives an increased level of water resistance on urban/countryside paths and trails.
NOTE: With soft leather boots - follow the instructions in the Altberg bootcare user guide. For bootcare advice, please see videos on Drying Out Leather Boots and Treatment for Water Repellent Boots.
