Boot Fitting Advice & Options

A last (footshape) is made based on a minimum of 52 measurements taken from each of the customers feet. Patterns and uppers are made to match the customers unique last. The lasts and patterns are kept at the factory so that the customer can order further boots made on their own last.
Prices are £1,500 upwards ● Waiting time usually 12 months due to waiting list ● Bootmaking time 3 months ● Usually 3 factory visits will be necessary
Men's and ladies fittings are different, the ladies uses a specific ladies shape for forefoot, heel and waist, developed by Altberg during the past twenty years of making and fitting ladies boots.
