Drying Boots Out
The constant cycle of being wet then dry will eventually cause leather to harden and crack. If boots are allowed to dry slowly and treated with Leder-Gris®, then the leather will remain supple for longer and leather hardening and cracking will be delayed.

STEP ONE
Remove the footbeds and invert the boot (tip it up) for 10 minutes to drain—the toe must be higher than the heel.
STEP TWO
Stuff the toe with newspaper and leave for 5 minutes, repeat until all excess water is removed.
STEP THREE
Invert the boots and leave to dry in a cool place to dry as slowly as possible. AVOID heat, sunlight and central heating.
STEP FOUR
Whilst still damp treat with Leder-Gris®
NEVER dry quickly
NEVER dry near heat
NEVER force dry in any way
NEVER leave boots in direct sunlight
ALWAYS treat boots with Leder-Bök® before use
