DESCRIPTION

The Lady Sneeker® Elite was Altbergs first ladies specific military boot, developed in 2002 it was intended as a ladies version of the men’s tactical boot, the Sneeker® Microlite.

The leg height is lower and closer fitting, and heel and waist are narrower.

We’d noted over many years of boot fitting that many female soldiers (and civilians) had difficulty in getting a good fitting boot when forced to use boots which were based on the main characteristics of a man’s foot. So, in 2002 we developed a ladies version of the AForme® last, and so the first ladies military boot was developed.

Midsole	Tri-Flex® 2-3 season, a combination of medium flex and torsional resistance, suitable for tabbing as well as rough terrain, excellent support of ankle and heel
Sole	Defender Hi-Traction Sole - excellent up-hill traction and downhill braking. Slip Resistance: highest level SRC (ISO EN 20345:2012). Anti-Static: (ISO EN 20344:6.2.2.2 (345). Oil Resistance: (ISO EN 20345:2012). Shock Absorption of Heel: (ISO EN 20344:2012: 5.1.4).

SIZE & FITTING ADVICE

For medium feet we suggest that you go up ½ a size on your SHOE size - this will allow for a thick sock with the boots. The AForme® refers to the more asymmetric shape of this last. Many of the features are taken from running shoe characteristics, a narrower heel and waist to hold and support the rear of the foot, an increased upwards toe lift (rocker), reduced sideways pressure on the large toe, and a wider forefoot with slightly above medium volume.
