Motorcycle Boot Fitting

At our factory shop we measure all customers for foot length and width, irrespective of which category of boot they may purchase, i.e. hiking, military, motorcycle etc.

For motorcycle boots we also consider:

A. the dimension of the calf, and the boot fastening around the leg

B. The ease of putting the foot into and out of the boot

We can usually make some small adjustments to help foot entry and calf closure, while the customer is in the shop, but where the difference is more than a small amount then a ‘made to measure’ adjustment may be the only solution we are able to offer.

NOTE - there can be variation (+/- 1cm), due to the properties of the materials we use. The above measurements are for guidance only - there is no real substitute to actually trying boots on.

Leg height is measured from the footbed inside the boot, up to the top of the leg (front and back).

Circumference is measured around the calf with socks on and at the top height as specified in the guide for that boot size. If leathers are worn inside the boots then measurements should be taken with leathers on.
